ENROLLMENT for HIRUDOTHERAPY EDUCATION & CLASSROOM TRAINING COURSES
at THE ACADEMY OF HIRUDOTHERAPY in LAS VEGAS, NEW YORK & MIAMI.

Acceptance to the program is conditional upon receipt of ALL ENROLLMENT paperwork INCLUDING REGISTRATION Deposit of $4000 to hold your space. Please contact us regarding any other course- related questions at (347) 981-6171; [email protected]
1. Tuition for Module I,II and III and the graduation Diploma, as of December 31st, 2014 is $ 10000-.; for MDs & NDs, etc. - certified and licensed in the USA, we provide an Accelerated Hirudotherapy Training Courses at different tuition fees . Please contact us for more details and about monthly installments option for the tuition payment.
Once you are accepted to the Academy of Hirudotherapy and enrollment deposit of $4000-, has been received, we require a balance of $6000 to be paid-in-full not later than in 7 days. There is a discount of $ 500 if the entire tuition fee is paid–in-full at the time of registration or if you refer another prospect student who will attend the Educational HT Courses at the same time. Please pay online with a credit or debit card, or deposit cash or cashier’s check directly into the Academy of Hirudotherapy bank account by the deadline (contact for the Academy for bank inormation).
2. Once we receive a paid in-full tuition fee, or installment agreement approved, we will send you the home study materials and the acceptance letter. If you need to make other payment arrangements, please ask us. THERE will be NO DISCOUNT FOR A PARTIAL PAYMENT arrangements, however, monthly installments are interest-free.
3. Once your deposit is received, we need documentation of the following:
1-3. Copy of (post-high school) Higher Education Diploma;
2-3. Copy of transcript, documenting a minimum of 9.5 CEU in Anatomy & Physiology (4 Credit Hours) if completed already, or a Copy of registration for A&P at an accredited college, university or Online, with a proof of “paid –in- full”; **
3-3. License in Health Care or other licenses and certificates, if attained;
4-3. Current First Aid, CPR/AED qualification card (has to be completed before final Exam & Diploma) **
**Transcript of Anatomy &Physiology and CPR/AED card are required to be eligible for Diploma in Professional Hirudotherapy.

4. We will send your Home Study Materials. You must complete the EXAM from the material provided with a minimum score of 75% in order to earn your 100-hour theoretical part. This material must be finished prior to the first direct meeting in class; you will excercise on open-book tests during the home study period (about 30-45 days).
The additional 100 hours of theoretical knowledge you will receive from the Academy educators. There is also an evaluation process for practicum that will be a separate grade score during your clinical hours - 100 hours of supervised clinical practice plus 200 hours of unsupervised practice. Upon request, the Internship could be extended up to 12 months.
5. Since you work and study at home, during the Module I, we suggest you invest in a good Medical Dictionary. You may find one in a used bookstore. Please note: any questions regarding the study materials, that you want to ask about, can and will be discussed during the course time at the Academy of Hirudotherapy.
6. If you have studied Anatomy & Physiology and need to refresh your memory, please use the Anatomy Coloring Book (from Home Study Materials) and color the human body pages. This is a big help in preparing.
If you do not have Anatomy and Physiology educational credits, you will need to complete 4 college credits/ 9.5 CEU minimum, either Online or through any accredited College/University . In order to be eligible for Hirudotherapy Certification and Diploma you must documente the knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology.
7. Self-paced Online Anatomy & Physiology Course available at:

Upon successful completion of the Online Anatomy and Physiology course students will receive a certificate of completion for 9.5
Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Corexcel is authorized to award CEUs by the International Association of Continuing Education and Training.
You have to sign up for the A&P Course right after the Hirudotherapy Course Registration is completed, all documents are submitted, tuition is paid or installment payment approved, and after official acceptance to the Academy of Hirudotherapy. Please call for details, 347.981.6171
